A Video Peek into the FeltLOOM Studio!

FeltLOOM, Needle Felting EquipmentThe first FeltLOOM® was designed, engineered, and produced in 2003. With over a decade behind us now, we have three models, thousands of happy FeltLOOMers in over 14 countries, and are thrilled to have introduced the Lexi this year, a tabletop model for the fiber artist who is working in a smaller studio and still wants the creative features and capabilities of a full-sized FeltLOOM®.

Now each day the sun rises over the hills of our farm, we see the animals go out to pasture, and we think back to where we started. We are amazed at how far we have come. Frequently our customers share with us a similar story about their experience searching all over the world for this product. It seems to be a common problem for so many in natural fiber production. Only now their story has a happy ending like ours. The FeltLOOM® offers endless possibilities and will forever change the future of fiber. If you haven’t met us yet, we invite you to take a look at this video. It will give you more information on how artists, fiber mills and educators everywhere are using their FeltLOOMs, and give you a peek into the FeltLOOM® studio.

We’re celebrating the season with a free day of training for anyone who purchases a FeltLOOM. Contact us to learn which FeltLOOM® is the best fit for you!

We look forward to an exciting 2015, and if you have been following us for a while now, but haven’t taken the next step, now is the time to learn more about the creative possibilities of the FeltLOOM® .

Spreading the Word about FeltLOOM

FeltLOOM by Laverne ZabielskiArt is a powerful medium. It has always been a vehicle for spreading ideas, for opening minds, and expanding cultures. It’s interesting and sometimes surprising to see what tools and materials artists discover and put to use.

We aren’t surprised, of course, that artists are using the FeltLOOM in their work. It’s ability to produce quality, colorful fabric makes it an obvious tool for creating wearable art. We have, though, been surprised by the variations of blends created by FeltLOOM users and most particularly by the artists who have discovered it. We’ve watched with fascination as Laverne Zabielski has experimented with the LOOM, coaxing out light, colorful fabrics that she has fashioned into beautiful and flowing garments.

FeltLOOM by Laverne ZabielskiLaverne has been very generous in sharing her discoveries with all of us and we’re delighted to see her and her work getting attention in the art world. Laverne is featured in the Winter Issue of Fiber Art Now. The FeltLOOM is also mentioned in the article. Congratulations, Laverne!
